Skills can be trained. Attitude cannot. Culture is the single most important thing to us. The right person here cares about doing good work, treats the client well, gets along with the team, and wants to be part of building something. Not just clocking in.
You hold a current A-Grade electrical licence in Victoria, in good standing. This is non-negotiable. The role involves residential work you would be running on your own.
Solid background in residential work. You know your way around switchboards, fault finding, GPO replacements, light fittings, smoke alarms. You have been in enough roof spaces to know what you are doing.
You would be the face of Ampy for the customers you quote and install for. Explaining the job, answering questions, walking them through what you found. The work matters, but how it lands with the customer matters just as much.
This role splits between site quoting and install delivery. If you can scope a job on site and quote it confidently, you would hit the ground running. If you have never quoted before, that is fine. We will train you. The path is clear either way.
Most days you would be running your van solo. Other days you would rotate with the team depending on what the job needs. You manage your own schedule with admin support and call the office only when you genuinely need to.
